Job Description

This role involves accurately labeling packages for major parcel carriers in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will support daily shipping and production activities through consistent, repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. The position does not involve operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Label packages accurately and consistently for shipment via major parcel carriers.
• Follow established packaging, labeling, and shipping procedures to ensure correct routing of all packages.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, loading, and basic production tasks.
• Use manual pallet jacks and other non-motorized equipment to move packages and materials as needed.
• Support inventory activities by organizing, counting, and staging products in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety guidelines.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
• Perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, general production, or general labor environment.
• Minimum 6 months of experience with labeling in a warehouse or production setting.
• Hands-on experience with packaging, labeling, inventory, picking, and packing tasks.
• Ability to use manual pallet jacks and perform basic loading activities safely.
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure correct labeling and handling of packages.
• Reliability and punctuality to support consistent MondayFriday operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous general warehouse experience handling various types of products.
• Comfort working in a production or warehouse setting with repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to assist with a variety of general labor and warehouse duties as needed.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse setting operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The work is highly repetitive and involves standing, moving, and handling packages throughout the shift. You will use basic, non-motorized equipment such as manual pallet jacks and work around general production and shipping activities. The dress code includes closed-toed shoes, jeans, and a work shirt to ensure safety and practicality in the warehouse environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $18.34 - $19.34/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
