The General Production Worker operates in a high-volume manufacturing environment, handling truck parts through a repetitive process of retrieving, buffing or polishing with a sander, inspecting for quality, and returning parts for the next stage of production. Work Environment
The role is based in an industrial metals manufacturing facility that produces commercial automotive parts such as wheel ends, aluminum castings, and plastic components for semi-trailers. The environment is a working foundry, which can be warmer during summer months and somewhat dirty due to metal processing and casting activities. Employees work with or around industrial equipment, so adherence to safety procedures is essential. The facility is a medium-sized shop with approximately 5075 people, offering a close-knit production environment focused on safety, quality, and efficient operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
