Now Hiring Packaging Line Workers for a Growing Manufacturer Recognized For Aerospace Electronics, Medical, and Industrial Applications!

Job Description

As a Packaging Line Worker, you will be responsible for performing shipping, receiving, and inspection activities to meet customer quality and delivery requirements. You will conduct audits and maintain inventory overages, follow production priorities, and prepare boards and documentation for shipment after final inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits and maintenance of overage inventory.
  • Follow production priorities as established by the Head of Operations and/or Production Manager.
  • Prepare and package boards, paperwork, and inspection documentation for shipment after final inspection.
  • Prepare packing slips for invoicing.
  • Receive raw materials and supplies.
  • Conduct receiving inspections as outlined in the Quality Procedures.
  • Monitor quality of work and compliance with process and product specifications.
  • Communicate production status changes and material inventory concerns to the department supervisor.
  • Assist new hires with basic setup and operations, provide relief support on equipment and processes.
  • Participate in quality or production meetings as needed.
  • Participate in the evaluation of processes, new equipment, and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in printed circuit board manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing flex and rigid-flex printed circuit boards preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; basic math skills required.
  • Understanding of prints and specifications.
  • Ability to visually verify fine detail work and count outgoing product.
  • Capability to pull/lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
  • Use of personal protective equipment required (smock, gloves, closed-toed shoes, ESD equipment provided).

Work Environment

The role involves processing and preparing products for shipment, requiring careful selection of packaging materials. You will review job travelers, material certificates, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. The position requires notifying supervisors of carrier pickups and any at-risk orders. Applicants must hold U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status per ITAR contract requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milpitas, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
