RURAL HOSPITAL ALLIANCE

The Rural Hospital Alliance (RHA) in Madison, MS, is actively seeking a full-time Project Manager. Are you an individual with exceptional project management and computer skills? The mission of the Rural Hospital Alliance (RHA) is to assist member hospitals in being successful healthcare providers in their unique rural setting by helping them achieve collectively what they could not achieve individually. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RHA PROJECT MANAGER

As a Project Manager, you are an integral component of the Rural Hospital Alliance (RHA). You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and implementation of the Mississippi Delta Rural Integrated Health Network Expansion Project. You will coordinate project activities from award through closeout, including implementation of the approved work plan, contractor oversight, budget monitoring, performance reporting, meeting coordination, and compliance with federal grant requirements.

Your job involves a great deal of collaboration. The Project Manager collaborates with participating hospitals, consultants, community partners, and the Project Steering Committee to ensure successful completion of grant objectives and development of a sustainable regional rural healthcare network.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN PROJECT MANAGER

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively with internal departments and external entities.
  • Must be able to coordinate activities and work with others.
  • Exhibits professional presence, consistent with association's ideals and values, at all times.
  • Ability to interface well with the public, both by phone and in person.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attend details and coordinate complex projects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to anticipate needs and respond.
  • Diplomatically handles problem situations.
  • Must be able to evaluate the scope of his/her own abilities and ask for assistance when needed.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and other software programs
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
