This is a contract position within the MCC Corporate and Community Education Center.
The salary range is $48.00 to $53.00 per hour for 12 hours per week.
SCOPE OF WORK: The RN Supervisor is a position required by the NH Board of Nursing (BON) who is responsible for the oversight of the LNA & MNA training program related to confirming candidate eligibility, instructor recruitment and eligibility, clinical site evaluations and reviews, and Office of Professional Licensing and Certification (OPLC) communications. The RN Supervisor will collaborate with the Healthcare Program Delivery Manager to coordinate scheduling, partnership development, and curriculum adherence to NH BON regulations. This position will report to the MCC Director of Corporate and Community Education.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing OR successfully completed a Board of Nursing sponsored Train the Trainer certification.
Experience: Five years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or long-term care facility.
License/Certification: Current RN license and good standing with the NH BON. Valid driver’s license or access to transportation.
Recommended Work Traits: Understanding of LNA & MNA roles and responsibilities. Knowledge of clinical protocols and requirements for LNAs in hospital and long-term care settings. Familiarity with the NH Board of Nursing requirements. Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas). Experience teaching adults, educational experience, or a Train the Trainer course. Experience with curriculum development, program management, and continuous improvement. Experience with community outreach to professional organizations and knowledge of healthcare workforce needs in New Hampshire. Current knowledge of nursing and LNA and MNA practices, procedures, and state regulations. Ability to define and assess problem areas and to develop effective solutions. Ability to exercise sound judgment in the performance of job duties. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Must be willing to maintain an appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by college management.
