Job Title:SVP Controller
Location: Irving, TX (On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger, month-end/year-end close, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, CECL, banking regulations, and internal policies.
- Lead accounting staff and support audits, examinations, and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and reconciliation processes.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership.
- Partner with internal teams on financial and operational initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in Community banking.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, CECL, bank regulatory reporting, and financial statements.
- Experience with Prologue, Excel, bank core systems, or ERP platforms.
- Proven leadership and team-management experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or relevant certification preferred.
- Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior banking finance professional preferred.
