Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Rate: Up to 95/hr W2 and 110/hr 1099

This is for an employee Clinic at Caesars in Reno.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an onsite employee health clinic. This position is ideal for an NP who enjoys practicing in a collaborative outpatient environment with a strong focus on primary care, preventive health, wellness, and same-day care.

The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat employees for a variety of acute and chronic health concerns while promoting overall health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine services in an onsite employee clinic setting.

  • Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and health screenings.

  • Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions within scope of practice.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and follow-up plans.

  • Provide same-day care for employees presenting with acute health concerns.

  • Order, perform, and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.

  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.

  • Provide preventive care, routine health screenings, immunizations, and wellness education.

  • Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and management of chronic conditions.

  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists and other healthcare providers when appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, clinical protocols, and established standards of care.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner/APRN license in the state of practice.

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification through an accredited certifying organization.

  • Current BLS certification.

  • Current prescriptive authority and DEA registration, if required for the position.

  • Previous experience in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, occupational health, or an employee health clinic strongly preferred.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient education skills.
