We are looking for a detail-oriented PART-TIME Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in the Fox Valley. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate records, keeping accounting processes organized, and ensuring timely financial transactions. The role will focus on core bookkeeping functions, including payables, receivables, payroll, and account reconciliation, while using QuickBooks to help maintain reliable financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks with a strong emphasis on accuracy and completeness.

• Process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and ensure accounts payable activities are completed on time.

• Create customer invoices, monitor incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances as part of accounts receivable management.

• Reconcile bank and financial accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and keep records aligned.

• Support payroll processing by reviewing payment details, maintaining records, and helping ensure employees are paid accurately.

• Organize bookkeeping documentation and financial files so information is accessible for reporting and audit support.

• Assist with routine financial reporting by compiling account information and verifying supporting data.

• Help maintain consistent accounting workflows and contribute to smooth day-to-day finance operations.

• Experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping duties in a detail-focused setting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks for transaction entry, account management, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and on a regular schedule.
• Experience supporting or processing payroll with careful attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
• High level of accuracy, dependability, and discretion when handling financial information.
