Insight Global is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a growing organization within the veterinary healthcare industry. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys helping customers, resolving payment-related issues, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for pet owners and veterinary clinics, assisting with account inquiries, billing questions, payment follow-up, and general customer support. This position combines customer service, administrative support, and accounts receivable responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer and veterinary clinic inquiries
- Respond to phone, email, and messaging inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Follow up with customers regarding past-due balances, missed payments, and billing concerns
- Resolve customer issues while delivering exceptional service and empathy
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account activity
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
- Support outbound communications and administrative projects
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience
- Meet established service levels, KPIs, and quality standards
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational processes
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center, contact center, or high-volume customer support environment
- Experience handling payment-related customer interactions, billing inquiries, or account issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working toward KPIs, SLAs, or performance metrics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounts receivable or collections experience
- Veterinary clinic, medical office, or dental office experience
- Reception, patient services, or administrative support experience
- Experience with CRM, ticketing, or customer support platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience handling difficult customer conversations with professionalism and empathy
Additional Information
- Candidates must be comfortable traveling to Mobile, AL for an initial 3-week training period before returning to work in the Atlanta office.
- This is an on-site position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
