SelecSource is hiring an Incoming Inspector to join our Quality Control team!

Position: Incoming Inspector

Department: Quality Control

Location: Lyons, GA

Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:30AM to 4:30PM with occasional Fridays if needed

• Inspect all incoming cans and ends for defects and document findings.
• Report critical defects to the QC Laboratory Supervisor.
• Provide necessary information for identifying defective pallets.
• Verify incoming labels and report discrepancies.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis and inspection of held finished goods.
• Collect additional samples as needed for investigation reports.
• Rotate within the Quality Control Department as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work any shift, including overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends.

This position may involve exposure to:

• Noise
• Wet or slippery surfaces
• Hot cans
• Moving equipment
• Potential slips, falls, and crushing hazards

Required PPE may include: earplugs, bump cap, hairnet, and protective footwear.
