The successful candidate will contribute to the design, coordination, delivery, and optimization of building mechanical systemsparticularly HVACfor energy generation facilities and commercial/educational projects. This role blends technical engineering expertise with project execution responsibilities, supporting design-build delivery, system integration, and long-term operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead or support the design and development of building mechanical systems (i.e., HVAC systems, Ventilation/Indoor quality, Hydronics, Plumbing-related mechanical coordination, building automation and control, etc.) for commercial and educational buildings.
· Perform or oversee load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork/piping layout, energy modeling, and system integration using industry-standard tools (e.g., Trace, HAP, Carrier, Revit, AutoCAD).
· Coordinate multidisciplinary project efforts across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and structural disciplines to ensure cohesive building systems design and delivery.
· Prepare and review design documents, specifications, drawings, calculations, and project deliverables for HVAC, hydronic, ventilation, and related mechanical systems.
· Support design-build project execution from concept through construction administration, including schedule coordination, budget awareness, and technical issue resolution.
· Evaluate system performance for energy efficiency, reliability, and seamless integration with renewable or alternative energy sources.
· Conduct site visits, field investigations, commissioning support, and coordination with operations/maintenance teams.
