Position Title:Electrical Foreman
Location:Fremont, CA 94538
Duration: 6+ Month (Possible to hire)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee field operations for industrial/commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of electrical experience, strong knowledge of the NEC, and proven experience leading electrical crews in a field environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate manpower and resources to meet project requirements and ensure efficient utilization.
  • Support renovation projects involving phasing and removal of existing electrical distribution systems.
  • Lead job walks to assess site conditions, identify issues, develop takeoffs, and prepare estimates.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents on scope, safety planning, material logistics, and project kickoff meetings.
  • Oversee field operations, crew performance, safety compliance, and execution expectations.
  • Develop safety plans, assign checklists, identify electrical hazards, and address personnel issues.
  • Ensure required materials, equipment, and manpower are available for project execution.
  • Lead and mentor electrical teams and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing and workforce development activities.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Valid California Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
  • C-10 or equivalent qualification preferred, with at least 4 years of documented commercial/industrial electrical field experience.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, electrical meters, and testing equipment.
  • Experience working with standard voltage up to 480 VAC.
  • Strong knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
  • Experience installing electrical equipment and modifying circuits.
  • Ability to develop parts lists, work plans, and as-built drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of job-site safety, electrical hazard identification, pre-work planning, and code compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
