We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair ofgeneratorsto ensure reliable power supply for our clients. This role requirestechnical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
What you'll do:
- Performroutine maintenanceongenerators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.
- Diagnoseandtroubleshootgenerator malfunctions and failures
- Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed.
- Test and verify repairs to ensure properoperation.
- Conductregular inspectionsofgeneratorsand associated systems to identify potential issues orsafety hazards.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and recommendations.
- Offer recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Complete and submit service reports in a timely manner.
- Participate in on-call rotations foremergency repairs
- Communicate with inside staff regarding the status of work orders.
What you'll bring:
- Proficiency in usingdiagnostic toolsand equipment and the ability to read technical schematics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 50+ lbs.
- Capable of working in variousenvironmental conditions.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 2+ years working withgenerators preferred.
