Machine Operator

A 150-year-old, family-owned precision manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join their remarkable team located in New Brighton, PA.

Full Responsibilities:

• Reading drawings per specifications

• Machine set up with cutter change overs

• Load and unload machine

• Using micrometer and caliper to inspect parts

• Using computer to record work in process

• Sorting parts

• Parts marking

• Potential CNC training

Requirements:

• 1+ year machine operator experience in manufacturing, required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude or experience. Required

• Ability or experience using precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, etc., to inspect parts for adherence to tight tolerances. Preferred

• Ability or experience reading specification drawings (blueprints, schematics, etc). Preferred

• CNC machine operator experience. Preferred. Willing to train.

• Familiarity or experience with ISO 9001 processes. Preferred

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
• Machine Setups for Production Runs
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
• Press Brake
