Snelling is recruiting a customer focused Inside Sales/Warehouse Helper for trusted supplier of metalworking tools and manufacturing products in the Birmingham area. This position is responsible for assisting customers by phone and email, entering orders, preparing quotes, coordinating purchases, and helping ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Starting pay: $16.00-20.00/hr
Responsibilities of Inside Sales/Warehouse Helper:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly
- Assist customers with product inquiries, order status, availability, pricing, and general questions
- Enter and process customer orders accurately
- Prepare and follow up on customer quotes
- Communicate with customers regarding pricing, lead times, back orders, and delivery updates
- Expedite open orders and coordinate with vendors to meet customer deadlines
- Assist with purchasing products and supplies from manufacturers and vendors
- Review orders for accuracy and ensure all necessary information is documented
- Maintain accurate customer, order, quote, and purchasing information in the company’s CRM and computer system
- Assists with inventory counts, pulling orders, and loading/unloading trucks with forklift, as needed
