Johnson Service Group is seeking a Warehouse Clerk for a contract position that may go full time based on performance.

Payrate: $24.00 per hour

Day Shift: Must be flexible to work each shift as needed

7:50 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
5:20 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
7:00 a.m. - 3:40 p.m.

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving inventory from the shipping department and transacting the material to a location in the warehouse. This position assists Warehouse Manager with cycle counts and maintaining first in first out inventory. As needed other duties or tasks may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews multiple daily inventory reports for pulling and staging of future deliveries.
  • Performs cycle counts of inventory.
  • Receives and verifies inventory from shipping.
  • Stores inventory to selected warehouse location.
  • Updates Visual with inventory location.
  • Pulls “Customer Extra Parts” and prepares them for inspection.
  • Repackages parts per customer shipping requirements.
  • Maintain “FIFO” inventory.
  • Reviews revision against customer order and packing slip.
  • Keeps warehouse clean and aisle ways accessible.
  • Maintains obsolete inventory.
  • Ability to handle small items such as nuts, bolts
  • Transacts materials through use of bar code or manual adjustments.
  • Palletizing, band straps, shrink wrap, crating hardware, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 6 Months of continuous work experience in manufacturing environment.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good organization skills.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Ability to communicate with others.
  • Basic arithmetic.
  • Must be able to read and understand English.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Extended periods of time standing.
  • Extended periods working on a computer.
  • Forklift
