Pay: $21.27 - $23.60

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Screen Stacker Operator to join our manufacturing team in South Simpsonville, SC. The Screener Stacker Operator is responsible for manufacturing screens and performing production activities that support quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This position involves screen preparation, alignment, lamination, inspection, measurement, documentation, and quality verification using precision equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture screens in accordance with established production procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Check and verify screen tension to ensure compliance with production requirements.
  • Complete and maintain required production documentation, including screen records, handling and storage labels, routing documents, design sheets, and production forms.
  • Perform lamination processes, including monitoring temperature measurements, press setup, cycle times, and pressure settings.
  • Utilize microscopes and precision measuring tools to inspect products and verify specifications.
  • Measure and evaluate skew, pattern width, stack alignment, overlap, and other critical quality characteristics.
  • Monitor and maintain ink weight control throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Install screens and verify required materials, assembly setup, and dimensional measurements.
  • Perform screen alignment, cut pads, and make skew adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Handle hazardous waste and reclamation activities in accordance with environmental, health, and safety procedures.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, production records, and quality reports.
  • Maintain work areas, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow all established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and support personnel to meet production objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Experience working with precision manufacturing processes, screen production, or similar operations is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to perform data entry functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to operate microscopes, measuring devices, and other precision inspection equipment.
  • Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
  • Working knowledge of basic mathematics, including arithmetic, fractions, decimals, and negative numbers.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Ability to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lamination processes, screen manufacturing, or precision assembly operations.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and process control methods.
  • Experience handling chemicals in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste handling and environmental compliance procedures.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for more than 90% of the scheduled shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday.
  • Manual dexterity required for handling small components and operating precision equipment.
  • Ability to visually inspect products using microscopes and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals, including industrial adhesives, acetone, and related manufacturing materials.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing and production environment.
  • Frequent use of microscopes, measuring tools, and specialized production equipment.
  • Exposure to industrial chemicals, adhesives, solvents, and cleaning materials while following established safety protocols.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
