Home Care Office & Scheduling Coordinator


KLS Healthcare is seeking a dependable, organized, and experienced Home Care Office & Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
We are looking for a candidate who has credible office experience and practical knowledge of the home care industry, particularly in coordinating and scheduling home care staff and patient services.
Living close to downtown New Rochelle is a PLUS.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating and maintaining home care employee and patient schedules
  • Scheduling Home Health Aides (HHAs) and other healthcare professionals based on patient needs and staff availability
  • Managing schedule changes, call-outs, coverage issues, and other day-to-day staffing matters
  • Communicating professionally with patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and office personnel
  • Maintaining accurate employee, patient, scheduling, and administrative records
  • Assisting with general office and administrative duties
  • Entering, organizing, and maintaining information using Microsoft Office applications with Strong MS Excel Knowledge
  • Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets, schedules, reports, and other documents
  • Ensuring confidential patient and employee information is handled appropriately
  • Following KLS Healthcare policies and applicable home care procedures
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
  • Previous office/administrative experience
  • Knowledge or experience working in home care or a healthcare office
  • Experience with home care scheduling and staff coordination
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other common office applications
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy healthcare environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, patients, families, and management
Preferred Candidate
We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously worked for a home care or home healthcare agency and understand the importance of maintaining reliable staffing coverage, accurate schedules, timely communication, and patient confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, proactive, computer proficient, and capable of working independently while contributing positively to the KLS Healthcare team.
