About this role Local openings for experienced electricians in Raleigh, NC to support commercial and tenant-improvement projects across the metro area. Work will be site-based around Raleigh with typical daytime schedules and opportunities for overtime; crews run on project timelines and local travel is expected. This role is hands-on: you'll bend and install conduit and raceways, pull wire, mount lighting and panels, and interpret technical drawings. We're looking for dependable tradespeople who read blueprints, follow safety procedures, and take pride in clean, accurate installations.
What you'll do- Read and follow electrical drawings, schematics, and site plans to lay out work
- Bend and install conduit, raceways, and wireways; pull and terminate conductors
- Install lighting, panels, disconnects and overcurrent protection devices
- Perform rough-in and trim work for commercial electrical systems
- Coordinate with foremen, inspectors and other trades on site to keep projects on schedule
- Maintain tools, test completed circuits, and ensure jobsite housekeeping and safety
What we're looking for- Proven experience on commercial electrical projects (conduit bending, raceway installation)
- Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience pulling cable, terminating, and installing lighting and panel equipment
- Familiarity with selection and installation of overcurrent devices and branch circuits
- Journeyman-level trade skills or equivalent field experience
- Reliable transportation to Raleigh-area job sites and ability to work on ladders/scaffolding
Qualifications- Journeyman electrician license or equivalent field experience (NC preferred)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- English required; Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus
- Able to pass required background check and drug screen
