Position Overview

We're looking for a dependable Drapery Production Worker to help make custom drapery products. You'll apply banding and trim, sew drapery components, make tiebacks, and prepare finished products for the next step in production.

This is a hands-on job that requires attention to detail, careful work, and a willingness to learn. Experience with sewing or fabrics is helpful, but training is provided.

What you'll do

  • Apply custom banding and trim to drapery products.
  • Sew drapery components such as tabs, Euro-hems, and stiffeners.
  • Make tiebacks.
  • Insert chain weights and prepare ripplefold snap tape.
  • Read work orders and follow measurements and instructions.
  • Check your work for accuracy and quality.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Learn other production tasks and help support the team.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Who you are

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with fabrics or sewing is a plus, but not required.
  • Comfortable using sewing machines and basic hand tools, or willing to learn.
  • Able to read and follow work orders, measurements, and instructions.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to lift, carry, push, or pull 25–40 lbs. Assistance is available for heavier items.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive sewing and production tasks.
  • Able to bend, reach, stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch as needed.
  • Able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to accurately read labels, measurements, and work tickets.
  • Able to pass a color vision test, if required.
