Part-Time In-Home Personal Chef

Malouf Personal Chef is a growing in-home personal chef company looking for a reliable, professional, and experienced cook to join our team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time work as our client base continues to expand.

About the Position

The primary focus of this position is weekly in-home meal preparation for our clients. You will travel to clients' homes, prepare their scheduled meals, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and provide a professional experience from start to finish.

We also occasionally provide private parties and special events, giving our chefs opportunities to take on different types of culinary work as our business grows.

Our schedule and opportunities are constantly changing based on client demand, so there is significant potential for additional hours and expanded responsibilities for the right person.

Schedule

Availability needed Sunday–Thursday, generally between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Hours may vary depending on client demand, your availability, and how much work you are able to handle. This position can start part-time with the potential to develop into a full-time role.

Requirements

• Professional cooking experience required
• Experience with meal preparation and working independently
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have your own basic professional cooking equipment
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be reliable and consistently on time
• Must present a professional appearance and maintain professional conduct in clients' homes
• Must be comfortable working independently in different home kitchens
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow menus, recipes, and client-specific instructions
• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

Compensation

Pay is based on experience, skill level, and efficiency. Pay ranges from $20–$25 per meal. Efficient chefs who can complete 2 meals per hour have the opportunity to earn more.

As our company continues to grow, there will be opportunities for increased hours, additional responsibilities, and potential advancement into a full-time position.
