Engine & Accessory, Inc. is currently seeking mechanical assemblers to join our tank and dump truck division. Engine & Accessory, Inc. manufactures a wide range of vacuum, refined fuel, waste oil collection, water spray and dump trucks.
Position Description:
As a mechanical assembler you will play a crucial role in the assembly and production of our products. Your responsibilities will include using hand and pneumatic tools to assembly, wire, and install components. The qualified candidate will install PTO's, pumps, hydraulics, valves, toolboxes, wire harnesses, fuses and switches according to assembly books and engineered drawings.
Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to follow written direction and schematics. Gather and position material and parts according to assembly documentation and verbal instruction. Safely operate various equipment such as hand and pneumatic tools, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes. Inspect work for defects and ensure equipment is assembled to specifications. Follow safety regulations such as wearing protective gloves, protective eyewear, and safety shoes. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Strong mechanical and 12V electrical background desired. Must have own set of basic hand tools. Previous manufacturing experience a plus. Outstanding attention to detail. Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
