Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Machinist - Level 2 for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Spanish Fork, UT, supporting precision machining work within the aerospace and defense industry. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist with 3 or more years of hands-on experience who can perform set-ups, read engineering drawings, operate machining equipment, and produce high-quality parts to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings, sketches, diagrams, and written or verbal instructions to plan machining sequences and determine required operations.
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment, including horizontal and vertical lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines.
- Perform machining operations such as turning, facing, boring, chamfering, drilling, grooving, reaming, tapping, slotting, dovetailing, and milling compound angles.
- Select cutting tools, work-holding methods, machine speeds, feeds, and tooling adaptations needed to complete jobs accurately and safely.
- Load, secure, and machine raw stock while maintaining quality standards, workflow, and safe operating practices.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance, grind cutting tools and bits, and support other production needs as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $23 to $24 per hour.
