Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We're seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a highly respected medical center in Baton Rouge, LA.
Details:
- Start: ASAP
- Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Varied Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
- Rotating Weekends/On-Call
- Duration: Minimum 90 days, with potential for extension or temp-to-perm
- System: EPIC
Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient pharmacy operations and medication order entry
- Prepare and complete IV medications
- Utilize Pyxis and pharmacy inventory systems
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and hospital staff
- Participate in rotating weekend and on-call coverage
Requirements:
- Louisiana pharmacist license in good standing
- Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Epic experience preferred, but willing to train
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call coverage
