A leading hospitality and entertainment organization based in Los Angeles, California is seeking a Senior Program Manager to help drive high-priority strategic initiatives across the business. Role Summary

The Senior Program Manager will serve as a hands-on execution leader responsible for driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from initial decision through successful completion. This highly visible role will partner directly with executive leadership and department heads to establish clear plans, maintain accountability, remove roadblocks, and ensure critical initiatives deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate combines exceptional organization and executive communication with the ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity, competing priorities, and aggressive timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-priority programs and initiatives from planning through execution, serving as the central point of accountability for delivery.
  • Translate executive objectives into actionable project plans, milestones, ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives across technology, finance, operations, human resources, and other business functions.
  • Build and maintain executive dashboards, project reporting, KPIs, and status updates that provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Identify organizational, procedural, resource, and operational roadblocks and proactively drive resolution.
  • Establish accountability across project teams and stakeholders while influencing outcomes without relying on formal authority.
  • Provide concise, decision-ready reporting and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Assess underperforming initiatives, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Help strengthen program management standards, governance, reporting, and execution practices across the organization.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and document outcomes, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project, program, transformation, operations, or related management experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business functions and stakeholders.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, program reporting, project metrics, and leadership-level status updates.
  • Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives and senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, establish accountability, and drive results without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations.
  • Ability to balance execution speed, organizational risk, stakeholder considerations, and quality.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience establishing, building, or maturing a Project Management Office (PMO) or enterprise program management function.
  • PMP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated process improvement expertise.
  • Agile, SAFe, program management, or operations-related certifications.
  • Background in management consulting, transformation, large-scale operations, or another execution-intensive environment.
  • Experience working within large, matrixed organizations with complex stakeholder structures.
  • Demonstrated experience leading turnaround, transformation, or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Experience presenting program performance, risks, and recommendations directly to executive leadership.
