Position Overview

The Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and performance of daily field

operations. This position serves as a key connection between leadership, security personnel,

clients, and administrative functions.

The ideal candidate is an organized, decisive, hands-on leader who can manage multiple

priorities, hold people accountable, solve problems quickly, and maintain a high level of

professionalism in a security-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Personnel Management

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure all assignments are properly staffed and executed.
  • Manage, support, and hold security personnel accountable for performance, attendance, appearance, conduct, and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor employee schedules, assignments, shift coverage, and call-offs.
  • Monitor staffing levels and proactively address coverage issues.
  • Conduct regular field checks and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, training, and employee development.
  • Address employee performance issues and implement corrective action when appropriate.
  • Maintain a strong culture of professionalism, communication, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Occasional Operational Backup: Provide occasional backup coverage for the dedicated scheduler during vacations/time-off and participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule for urgent escalations.

Client & Account Management

  • Serve as a primary operational contact for assigned clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and respond promptly to operational concerns.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to ensure expectations are being met.
  • Identify service issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure security personnel understand and consistently meet client-specific requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and account reviews as needed.

Scheduling & Logistics (Oversee)

  • Manage and maintain security schedules and post assignments.
  • Ensure adequate coverage for vacations, absences, call-offs, and special events.
  • Coordinate staffing for new accounts and changing client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, schedules, and personnel documentation.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure personnel follow company policies, post orders, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of personnel and assigned locations.
  • Ensure required licenses, certifications, training, and documentation remain current.
  • Review incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Identify operational risks and recommend improvements.
  • Assist leadership with developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.

Leadership & Problem Solving

  • Respond to operational issues and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
  • Make timely decisions while keeping company leadership appropriately informed.
  • Serve as a role model for company standards and expectations.
  • Promote effective communication between field personnel, management, and clients.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, employee performance, and profitability.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in security, protection, military or law enforcement.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience required.
  • Strong leadership and personnel-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations, employees, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and standard business software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to operational needs outside of traditional business hours when necessary
