Your Impact
WNA is seeking an experienced Operations & Project Manager to support organizational performance through operational analytics, project management, resource planning, and continuous process improvement for construction projects across the markets we serve. This role ensures the planning, coordinating, and execution of projects align with company objectives, client expectations, and company standards. The Operations & Project Manager will have solid communication, collaboration, and leadership qualities and experience working on construction sites and/or hands-on experience and familiarity with HVAC, electrical and plumbing building systems. This role will work alongside executives and project engineers and play a key role is advancing our mission and vision. This opportunity is available at our Portersville office.
Role Priorities
- Support daily business operations and teams to achieve organizational objectives
- Manage and utilize key business metrics and operational indicators to support continuous improvement
- Maintain strong communication, manage expectations and ensure deliverables align with client goals
- Assist with implementation of new systems, technologies, and business initiatives
- Maintain, create and curate relationships with clients and internal and external teams
- Collaborate and coordinate across all disciplines daily and conduct site visits as needed
- Manage projects, monitor budget costs, invoicing, and manage time placed on phases and change orders
- Reviews proposals, define scopes clearly and manage changes
- Support Project Engineers to ensure drawings and submittals meet WNA, industry and client standards
- Manage project coordination, meetings, schedules, and deadlines
- Communicates weekly with all project stakeholders and coordinate withall internal resources.
- Support team development initiatives by providing mentorship and professional development guidance
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, project management, and leadership roles, including direct supervision of employees and responsibility for performance and professional development
- Demonstrated success leading, developing, and mentoring teams while fostering collaboration and a high performance culture
- Proven ability to oversee multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Experience driving operational excellence through process improvement, efficiency initiatives, and performance measurement
- Strong business and operational acumen, including experience managing client relationships, supporting organizational growth, and overseeing day-to-day business operations
- Working knowledge of building systems and ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency using Microsoft 365, PM software, and business reporting tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Professional certifications or formal management training such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar
- Construction site experience and working knowledge of MEP/FP systems
- Physical requirements: climb stairs, using/carrying ladders, and a valid drivers license
