Filler Operator
Tulare | Contract | $25.00/HR

The company is hiring a Filler Operator to work under the direction of the Production Supervisor(s). This position requires flexibility to support all aspects of packaging operations, including filler operations, sanitation, equipment troubleshooting, and other production needs.

Schedule

  • 6am-4:30pm or 4pm-2:30am (10 hour days means 2 hours overtime every day)
  • Monday-Sunday
  • Must be flexible to support team meetings, cross-training, projects, and production needs
  • Additional assignments and emergency production situations may require schedule flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Operate filler equipment and support packaging operations
  • Provide coverage so team members can attend meetings, cross-train, or work on projects
  • Learn and perform multiple jobs as determined by team consensus
  • Complete daily and master sanitation of assigned work areas
  • Assist with periodic cleaning, downtime activities, TPM, and other production needs
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Communicate and pass down relevant business and production information
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and support maintenance when needed
  • Follow QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards, including implementation, improvement, and ongoing maintenance
  • Follow requirements and process changes related to the Daily Management Systems
  • Perform other duties and assignments as needed by the team or Steering Team

Requirements

  • Ability to work safely, sanitarily, and productively in accordance with LHD GMPs
  • Flexibility to learn and perform multiple production and packaging jobs
  • Ability to follow safety, quality, sanitation, and production procedures
  • Ability to participate in cross-training and continuous improvement activities
  • Documented job performance and attendance record subject to review
  • Specialized training or licenses relevant to the position, as applicable
  • Experience performing similar production or packaging positions

Preferred

  • Previous experience in filler operations or packaging
  • Experience troubleshooting production equipment
  • Experience with TPM, sanitation, or maintenance support
  • Experience with GMPs and quality management processes
  • Experience with safety and continuous improvement programs
  • Strong participation in team-based production environments
