Retail Staff Pharmacist in Silver Spring, MD

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide 6-week coverage in a mail order pharmacy setting. This contract position is based in Largo, MD, and supports a well-structured work schedule.

Location: Largo, MD
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• November 1 through December 14

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling, ensuring clear communication of medication instructions and safety information

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Maryland
• Experience in retail and mail order pharmacy settings is preferred
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is a plus
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule as needed
