Our work centers on new home builds, metal structures, and foundation design, and we're growing fast. We're looking for a licensed, motivated engineer who wants real ownership of projects and room to grow with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Design structural systems for new residential construction, including framing, beams, headers, shear walls, and lateral design
  • Design and analyze metal structures such as steel-framed buildings, carports, canopies, and other light commercial steel projects
  • Design shallow and deep foundations, including slabs, footings, helical piles, drilled piers, and retaining walls
  • Review and update load calculations and provide structural assessments for failing or damaged structures
  • Produce engineering calculations and red-line drawings for permit-ready plan sets
  • Work toward managing projects from initial scope through final stamped deliverables
  • Obtain licensure in additional states as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active PE license required (SE or structural focus preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
  • Experience with residential design and wood framing per IRC and IBC
  • Experience designing steel structures per AISC
  • Experience with foundation design, including deep foundations and retaining walls
  • Proficient in RISA 3D, AutoCAD, Enercalc, Excel or similar
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable working directly with builders and clients
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
