Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – NOC Shift
Location: Portland, Oregon
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Direct Hire
Pay: $36.50–$38.50/hour
Schedule: Overnight/NOC shift
Required: Sunday and Monday nights, plus 3 additional nights
About the Position
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join an assisted living healthcare team in Portland.
This position is ideal for an LPN who is comfortable working independently and enjoys caring for residents during the overnight shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and monitor residents.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Document residents' conditions and care.
- Perform assessments and neurological checks after falls.
- Respond to resident needs and urgent situations.
- Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate records in the EHR/PointClickCare system.
- Monitor medications, supplies, and medication carts.
- Support caregivers and other direct-care staff when needed.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty during the overnight shift and contact on-call leadership when necessary.
Requirements
- Active Oregon LPN license.
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Assisted living or independent living experience is preferred.
- Behavioral health or experience with complex resident needs is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently overnight.
- Dependable, compassionate, and committed to quality resident care.
Schedule
- Full-time, 5 nights per week.
- Sunday and Monday nights are required.
- You may choose your other 3 nights based on your availability.
