Bulldog Security is looking for a Security System Alarm Technician & Installer to join our team. We have been providing custom residential and commercial security systems throughout the Chicagoland area since 1993.

We’re looking for someone who wants to become part of the Bulldog family and help us continue serving our customers and community. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with alarm systems or low-voltage industry, although we are willing to consider the right candidate with a strong background and willingness to learn.

There is plenty of room to grow within the company, and we’re excited to welcome a new addition to the Bulldog team!

Must live in the Chicagoland area. The majority of our projects are located on the north side of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.


Responsibilities
  • Install, program, service, and troubleshoot residential and commercial security systems
  • Diagnose and repair equipment, wiring, and communication issues
  • Complete service reports and work orders accurately
  • Maintain company standards and quality workmanship
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of security system installation and service experience prefered
  • Experience with commercial and residential systems
  • Alarm.com, DSC, Qolsys, Honeywell, ELK, or similar experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical labor
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb ladders and work at heights
  • Work indoors and outdoors
  • Crawl, kneel, and work in confined spaces when needed
