CNC Lathe Operator – (1 yr Experience Required)

Millennium Machine and Tool is now hiring responsible and experienced (1 – 3 years minimum) CNC Lathe Machinists to work in our expanding, innovative and diverse company in Newton, Kansas. Job Description

CNC Lathe Operator – 1st Shift and 2nd Shifts

• CNC Lathe Machinist positions

WORK SCHEDULE:

1st Shift Hours – Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

2nd Shift Hours – Monday – Thursday 3:15- 1:45 am, $1.50 shift differential

Typical work week is 40-45 hours a week. Friday is overtime, may be required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED / PREFERRED

• Knowledge of CNC programming, editing, trouble shooting and problem solving.
• Daily team communication and collaboration
• Attention to detail with the ability to focus on safety, productivity and most importantly quality.
• Aptitude test during interview.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES

• Requires a strong, related work history.
• Can work well independently and in team settings.
• Observes safety procedures by using equipment properly.
• Dependable attendance

EDUCATION / TRAINING REQUIRED

• 1 – 3 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Lathes.
