Step into a meaningful opportunity to support young learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment. This contract assignment focuses on providing coverage during a leave of absence, offering you the chance to make a direct impact with PreK and K-4 students. With a weekly schedule of 20 hours, you'll enjoy a flexible workload, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.

In this role, you'll:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through fourth grade
  • Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and professional standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a student-centered approach within the school community

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Washington
  • Prior experience working in a school setting with PreK or elementary students is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations and making a positive difference
