We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) in good standing
- Eligible for (or possess) state licensure for SLP in Louisiana
- Experience mentoring or supervising SLPAs preferred
- Solid clinical skills in assessment and therapy for diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
- Passion for supporting student achievement through individualized intervention plans
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide ongoing supervision and support to SLPAs, ensuring fidelity and growth
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ overall educational goals
- Maintain accurate service documentation, progress notes, and compliance with all district and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and staff professional development
