Distribution Associate - 3rd Shift

This 3rd shift Distribution Associate role offers the opportunity to join a growing warehouse team and support efficient order processing, packaging, and shipping operations. You will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped according to customer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Process and audit customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process and audit company products to align with specific customer needs and requirements.
• Pick, sort, and count parts and products in preparation for packing and shipping.
• Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment to designated customer locations.
• Ship orders to the correct customer destinations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Inspect products to verify adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Handle shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Support inventory tasks such as counting, labeling, and tracking stock levels.
• Collect cardboard and other packing materials and place them into the compactor to maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and safe workspace in a fast-paced distribution environment.

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Hands-on experience with order picking and product selection.
• Proficiency in packing products for shipment with attention to accuracy and protection.
• Experience with shipping processes, including preparing orders for dispatch.
• Experience with receiving procedures, including checking and verifying incoming goods.
• Ability to perform inventory tasks such as counting, labeling, and tracking items.
• Strong attention to detail when sorting, counting, and auditing orders and products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-based environment.

• Comfort working with shipping and receiving documentation and labels.
• Ability to follow detailed customer specifications and quality standards.
• Basic organizational skills to maintain clean and efficient work areas.
• Reliability and consistency in meeting production and accuracy expectations.

The role is based in a very clean, fast-paced warehouse setting focused on distribution and production activities. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
