Manufacturing Engineer - Rejuvenation
About the Team
You will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting production of lighting and hardware components and assemblies in our Portland factory. Our job is to ensure the product is processed through the factory safely and efficiently, while maintaining the high quality and beautiful aesthetic that defines our brand.
About the Role
In the Manufacturing Engineering role, you’ll support daily production, quality and launch activities by maintaining manufacturing data, improving work instructions, supporting tooling and fixture needs and resolving defined production issues. You’ll use MS Dynamics AX, CAD tools and Office 365 tools to communicate with product engineering, inventory planners, external vendors and the production team.

• Support daily production, quality and launch activities for lighting and hardware manufacturing.
• Maintain routings, labor standards, BOM accuracy and work instructions.
• Perform time studies, scrap analysis and basic root cause analysis.
• Design or support basic tooling, fixtures, layouts and process improvements with guidance from senior engineering or management.
• Support pilot builds, rework instructions, QA inspection documentation and vendor quality follow-up.
• Partner with production, product engineering, QA, planning and vendors to resolve assigned production and launch issues.
• Comply with company handbooks and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We’re excited about you because...
• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent technical experience.
• 2-5 years manufacturing engineering or related experience
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with CAD, ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, routings and work instructions.
• Experience in assembly, metal fabrication, finishing, quality systems or consumer product manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others at all organizational levels
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing setting. There may be exposure to flying particles and airborne particles, chemicals, fumes, flammable materials, dirt, grease, and electrical equipment (Personal Protective Equipment provided). Work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to humid, hot, or cold conditions as well as exposure to high noise levels.
