The Tutor will support elementary students through engaging one-on-one and small-group sessions. This role delivers subject instruction, adapts learning approaches to individual needs, and partners with parents to help students build knowledge, confidence, and effective study habits.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons for elementary students in one-on-one and small-group settings.
- Provide subject instruction and homework support.
- Assess student understanding and track academic progress.
- Adapt instruction and learning activities to meet student needs.
- Teach study skills and reinforce effective learning habits.
- Maintain an organized, supportive learning environment.
- Develop and use instructional resources to support learning objectives.
- Communicate student progress and learning needs with parents.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of tutoring experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the subject area or a related field.
- Instructional design experience.
- Strong subject-matter expertise.
- Strong communication skills.
