Modesto Reprographics is a family-owned print shop looking for a dependable, personable, and detail-oriented Customer Service & Print Production Associate to join our small team.

This is not just a delivery position. The majority of the role involves working directly with customers, computers, print equipment, and customer orders from start to finish.

We are happy to train someone in the print industry, but we're looking for someone who is already comfortable with computers, learns quickly, retains training, enjoys solving problems, and can become increasingly independent.

What You'll Do

• Help customers in person, over the phone, and through email
• Ask questions and help customers determine what they need
• Process customer orders from start to finish
• Print and process blueprints, copies, scans, and other print products
• Operate computers, printers, scanners, and production equipment
• Assemble, staple, sort, trim, package, and finish customer orders
• Check your own work for accuracy and professional presentation
• Troubleshoot routine order issues and seek customer clarification when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and general shop operations
• Complete local deliveries using a company vehicle as needed

Requirements

• Strong everyday computer skills
• Approximately 4+ years of regular computer experience preferred
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Valid California driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 20–45 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
• Reliable attendance and transportation to work

Print experience is helpful but NOT required. We are willing to teach the printing side of the job to someone who brings strong customer service, computer skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Schedule & Growth

This position will begin at approximately 30 hours per week.

As training progresses and the employee demonstrates reliability, quality work, strong customer service, initiative, training retention, and the ability to work independently, there may be an opportunity to transition to approximately 40 hours per week, based on performance and business needs.

Pay

$17.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
