Pool Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:

Are youready to join the movement towards the professional trade in pool service? Throw out the old stereotypes of flip-flops and tank tops dumping chlorine and moving to the next pool. Our pool service techs are professional tradespeople who will grow in education, ability, and compensation and we are looking for the next enthusiastic individual to join our team.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never cleaned a pool before, we are looking for the right person who wants to grow with us. Although experience is preferred, we will train the right fit. We will train you on chemistry, plumbing, hydraulics, and electrical work. Be a part of the Wave of change in the pool industry.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, enjoys being outside, and takes pride in a job well done. Our full-time techs have some flexibility in scheduling and receive 5 PTO days every year including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and NYD. You will be the first Wave our customers see on a weekly basis and the primary reason they enthusiastically say WOW when they look at their pool.

You must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum three (3) years of clean MVR, a positive attitude, be customer oriented, and a team player.

We provide a company vehicle for work use (not a take home vehicle); all necessary chemistry; professional grade, industry leading tools, software, and pool care apps to make your day easier and more productive.

Duties

  • Diligently brush the entire basin (steps, walls, tiles, floor, seats, etc.).
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools for basic pool repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Test water chemistry and balance chemicals as needed to ensure safe swimming conditions while following safety guidelines.
  • Inspect pool equipment for functionality, performing minor repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding pool care.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used during visits (company phone and pool service app provided).
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Use variety of vacuums depending on situation/application.
  • Wash filter element, clean tile line, check/empty baskets, skim surface debris.
  • Maintain inventory of your chemicals, parts, and supplies needed to perform at the highest level.
  • Willingness to perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is preferred.
  • Able to pass pre-employment background check
  • Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Valid Driver's License with a minimum of three (3) years clean driving record (MVR history will checked)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
  • Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions (as long as it is safe).
  • Ability to adapt to new methods/systems while also eager to suggest changes to improve our processes.

Compensation

This position is paid weekly. You will be provided paid on the job training and all the tools needed to be successful. The position will begin as part-time and grow into a full-time position.
