CNC Machinist / Programmer
Pay Range: $32 - $42/hr DOE + Robust Benefits
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire
Hours: M to F, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. + Optional OT

How you'll spend your time as a CNC Machinist / Programmer:
- Review drawings, models, specs, and GD&T for aerospace and defense components.
- Develop machining strategies and sequences for complex parts.
- Create, optimize, and verify CNC programs in Mastercam.
- Program and run 3, 4, and 5 axis operations based on experience.
- Select tooling, workholding, fixtures, feeds, and speeds.
- Perform complete machine setups, including offsets and probing.
- Prove out programs safely and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot machining problems and identify root causes.
- Perform first piece and in process inspections with precision measuring tools.
- Improve cycle time, tool life, and overall productivity.
- Maintain accurate programs, setup information, and job travelers.
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a CNC Machinist / Programmer:
- CNC machining experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other high precision work.
- Mastercam programming experience.
- Advanced CNC machine setup and operation.
- 3 and 4 axis machining; 5 axis experience highly desirable.
- Strong blueprint, model interpretation, and GD&T skills.
- Precision inspection and measurement to tight tolerances.
- Complex workholding and fixture development.
- Solid understanding of tooling, tool paths, feeds, speeds, and materials.
- Experience with challenging materials and complex part geometries.
- Process development and troubleshooting skills.
- Pride in your craft and a drive to keep learning.
- Willingness to share knowledge and help others improve.
