Job Summary:

As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, enhancing their overall quality of life, and promoting socialization, entertainment, and relaxation. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging activities for residents, including but not limited to games, arts and crafts, exercise classes, and entertainment programs

• Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar

• Encourage resident participation and provide assistance as needed

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activity schedules, and supplies

• Assist in the coordination of special events, such as birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and theme days

• Support the care team in providing assistance with daily living tasks, as needed

• Foster a positive and respectful environment, promoting dignity, independence, and socialization among residents
