Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Manager in managing daily activities of the service department.
- Coordinate and schedule vehicle repairs and services to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with customers regarding service progress, estimates, and completion timelines.
- Monitor technician productivity and service quality to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Support inventory management for parts and supplies.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in training and mentoring service staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive service or repair, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient in using service department software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
