About the Role: North American Land Development is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Monroe, LA! Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other building materials for construction projects
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, framing, and trim
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety regulations
- Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment properly
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential, commercial, or land development construction
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality craftsmanship
- Must have your own basic tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
