ND Defense is looking for Material Handlers to work second shift from 9/1/2026 - 12/31/2026 on temporary assignment.
The Material Handler transports, stores and retrieves items in the manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
- Transports items using forklift and other appropriate equipment
- Utilizes safety techniques and follows all safety requirements
- Stores items neatly and in their proper place
- Retrieves items per instructions and delivers them to the appropriate place
- Ensures items are not damaged during transport or storage
- Labels items accurately as directed
- Inventories items accurately as directed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in handling materials, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Essential Functions include but are not limited to: lifting up to 50lbsregularly and heavier items occasionally, ability to operate transportation devices and equipment, ability to work in extreme cold and hot temperatures, ability to lift, push, pull, walk, stand and squat.
