Elia Taverna is looking for an experienced, friendly, and dependable server to join our team. We are a family-owned Greek/Mediterranean restaurant focused on providing high-quality food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Explain menu items and make recommendations when needed
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Check on guests throughout their meal and ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
- Process payments accurately
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and other staff members
- Follow restaurant service standards and health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Knowledge of Greek/Mediterranean cuisine is a plus
