Axia Care Center is seeking a dependable, experienced, and team-oriented Full-Time Assistant/Cook to join our team.

Location: Axia Care Center

• Assist with daily kitchen and food-service operations

• Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary requirements

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining area

• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service

• Follow all food-safety and sanitation guidelines

• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies

• Support daily operations and staff as needed

• Help ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures

• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Prior Assistant Management experience is required

• Previous cooking, kitchen, dietary, or food-service experience preferred

• Healthcare or long-term-care experience is a plus

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and detail

• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures

We are looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, organized, and comfortable assisting with both kitchen operations and management responsibilities.
