A day in the life

As the Electrical Foreman, you guide a hands-on team that powers up our modular ranges and related equipment. Your day begins aligning priorities with the shop foreman and production supervisor, then moves quickly into fielding work orders, setting task lists, and ensuring materials are on hand so crews can execute without delay. On the floor and in the field, you lead complex installs and troubleshoot systems, all while mentoring technicians and keeping quality and safety at the forefront.

What you will lead
  • Install power distribution, wiring, and conduit for modular ranges; plan circuit layouts and place electrical apparatus to spec.
  • Connect power feeds to machinery and building systems; terminate cables and interconnect equipment-to-equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair issues across transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels and circuits, variable frequency drives, and lighting systems; replace damaged conductors and components as needed.
  • Review work for compliance with NEC, MMD specifications, and company safety policies.
  • Replace and set up components such as relays, switches, motors, sensing devices, and printed circuit boards.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in top condition; keep work areas orderly and safe.
  • Plan daily and weekly assignments for your crew in concert with the shop foreman and production supervisor to meet delivery timelines.
  • Issue daily work plans, tasks, and materials to team members; verify progress and quality at least once per day.
  • Build project material takeoffs and place orders; ensure long-lead items are procured to avoid delays.
  • Ensure team members know which projects they are on and that time is tracked accurately.
  • Own the performance of your crew; report daily goal attainment to the shop foreman and recommend adjustments when needed.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Curiosity to cross-train and develop new technical skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for installations; a passport is preferred.
  • A knowledge assessment will be required prior to interviewing.
