Embroidery Machine Operator

Job Overview

Key Logo, a contract clothing decorator, is seeking to add an embroidery machine operator to their embroidery team. Embroidery machine operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining commercial embroidery equipment to decorate a wide variety of apparel and bags.

The ideal candidate has previous commercial embroidery experience, is able to work independently to troubleshoot technical issues, maintains strict quality control, and efficiently meets fast-paced production deadlines. Prior experience with commercial embroidery equipment is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Previous managerial/supervisory experience, customer service experience, or Microsoft Outlook experience is a plus.

Hours: 6:30am – 3pm, with overtime as needed.

This position pays $16-$20/hour based on experience.

Hiring is contingent upon passing of a background check and four panel drug screen. We do not test for THC.

Responsibilities

• • Set up and operate multi-head commercial embroidery equipment (Barudan, 6 or 12 head) to fulfill customer orders.
  • Select appropriate threads, needles, and backing based on fabric type and design complexity.
  • Hoop and stage garments correctly (including hats and bags) to ensure accurate alignment and prevent puckering.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine errors to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Previous experience with commercial embroidery equipment or the ability to be trained to operate and maintain commercial embroidery equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
