Electrical Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join a growing electrical contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale projects in the Savannah, GA area. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews of 5 or more electricians and apprentices.
- Coordinate daily field activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Plan work assignments, manage manpower, and coordinate material and equipment needs.
- Maintain quality control while ensuring compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
- Mentor and develop field personnel while promoting a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications
- Experience leading electrical crews on large-scale multifamily residential and/or commercial construction projects.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 5+ electricians.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Journeyman electrical license preferred.
- For candidates working in a state that does not require an active journeyman license, such as Georgia, the candidate must be able to pass the company's electrical exam during the interview process onsite at the GRID.
- Candidates who successfully pass the exam and begin employment will have their journeyman licensing costs covered by the company, with the expectation that they obtain their journeyman license within 6 months.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred (training can be provided if not currently certified).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
